We were invited to WaterFire by our college friend of 46 years, Judy Bentkover, a member of the WaterFire Board. We do quite a bit of traveling, but were unprepared for this absolutely spectacular event! It was a gorgeous, magical, exhilarating experience. We've been to Venice twice and love it, but we have to say that WaterFire transformed Providence into a truly exquisite place of creativity and wonder: it out-Veniced Venice! We were so fortunate to meet Barnaby Evans and hear about the care and passion that goes into these events. Providence is so blessed to have such a dynamic visionary who truly loves the city. This was not only worth the trip from New Jersey, it is worth trip from anywhere on earth: a truly word class experience.
